This series explores time not as an external measure, but as an intimate, lived experience. Rather than dividing life into fixed units, the works approach each hour as a distinct state - shaped by attention, emotion, memory and movement.
In the central work, the structure of a clock transforms into a sunflower. Its twelve sections become individual moments, each carrying its own rhythm and direction.
The circular composition echoes natural forms such as the Fibonacci spiral and the chambers of a snail's shell, suggesting a movement that is organic rather than linear.
Time here is not understood as a sequence moving towards an endpoint. It expands, returns and transforms. The recurring circle becomes a metaphor for lived experience: much may return, but nothing repeats in exactly the same way.
At the centre is a point of attention - a moment in which one becomes aware of where one is within one's own time. The series does not offer an answer, but invites a quieter question: how do we inhabit the time that is given to us?

The works from this series have been presented in group exhibitions and curated exhibition contexts, including "Uluslararası Karma Sergi" at the International Association of Plastic Arts (UPSD) Gallery, Istanbul (2026), and the Vogue seventh edition exhibition at Boomer Gallery, London (2024).
These presentations place the work in dialogue with viewers beyond the studio, allowing the paintings to function not simply as images, but as spaces for reflection on time, perception and lived experience.
